Pruning Pip Fruit at POG (Paekākāriki Community Garden and Orchard)

Prepare - tis the season for Pruning Pip Fruit! Yes, I am having fun with the alliteration of this one. 'Pruning Pip Fruit' is just too fun to say. It's also pretty fun to do, and this Sunday Hannah Zwartz will be at POG teaching us how!

I am sure you are starting to get the idea… but in case you missed it…these hands-on, garden skills workshops hosted by POG (Paekākāriki Community Garden and Orchard) are
- First Sunday of every month (11am-1pm)
- FREE
- FOR ALL & FAMILY FRIENDLY 
- A FABULOUS way to meet and do something kind for the community (growing kai!)
Speaking of, POG will be sharing our harvest bounty at the ‘Soup-er Prepared' event at Paekākāriki school on the 14th of June. Let us know if you want to join the soup or the Char-b-que team. 

P.s. This Sunday, If you can bring gloves. And remember that the cuppa afterwards, is a great chance to ‘swop crops’ and cake – if you have extra to share😊
