Spend the day exploring the beautiful Miriona Gardens while enjoying practical workshops, inspiring garden talks, orchard tours, delicious local food, and plenty of fun for the whole whānau.
Whether you're an experienced gardener, a complete beginner, or simply curious, you'll leave with new skills, fresh inspiration, and connections with others who love growing food and caring for the environment.
Highlights include: Growing from Seed, MasterChef Compost, Char & Char-B-Que – Biochar Workshop & Demonstration, Spring into the Garden – Gardeners' Question Time, Guided Orchard & Garden Tours, Biochar Quench Demonstration, Kai & Kōrero, Children's Activities-Make your own Seed Bombs & Scavenger Hunt, Food & Refreshments
Our famous Char-B-Que will be firing up delicious gluten-free gourmet sausages from the Waikanae Butcher, along with vegetarian options. These will be selling for $5 each.
Tea, coffee and homemade cakes will also be available for a koha.
