Foraging with Earth School Aotearoa | Roots

Join Earth School Aotearoa at Mangaroa Farms for a seasonal wild forage walk.

Each month we will explore what the season is offering, from winter roots and underground foods, to late winter plants that help wake our systems up, through to early spring edible and medicinal plants.

We are big believers in learning alongside our children, whether they are little ones or grown-up ones, so this walk is priced per family, not per person. Come as one, or come as many.

The walk is pram friendly and will run for about 1 hour.

Price is per family.

Please park in the paddock beside the shop and meet under the farm shop shelter.

Wet weather:
We will notify you within 48 hours if we need to cancel. If the weather is too wet, we may choose an alternative location or make food from foraged plants instead. If it is too wet and cold, we will likely cancel and you can join the following month.
