Fruit Tree pruning day worhops

Learn to prune:

•             Pip fruit - apples and pears

•             Stonefruit - plums, damsons and peaches

•             Citrus

•             Feijoas

Workshop participants will learn about:

•             Equipment and sharpening tools

•             Techniques

•             Apical dominance

•             Shapes

•             Timing of pruning

•             What to prune

•             Identifying fruiting buds

•             Tying down

Workshop participants get hands on experience of making pruning cuts, and deciding on tree shapes.

Cost is $100 per person.  Morning and afternoon tea is included.  Bring something for a shared lunch.
